Strengthen Your Connection, Navigate Challenges, and Rekindle Intimacy

Relationships are at the core of our lives, bringing joy, connection, and shared purpose. But even the strongest partnerships face challenges—whether it’s communication breakdowns, conflict, the demands of life and work, or the lingering effects of past experiences, including trauma. Couples therapy provides a safe, supportive space to work through these challenges and build a stronger, more fulfilling connection.

  • I work with couples from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating the unique stressors of service-based professions like first responders, veterans, and healthcare workers. Many of my clients are working through the effects of post-traumatic stress or are uncovering how their early attachment experiences and childhood dynamics shape their relationship patterns today. Together, we will explore these influences, improve communication, and address the underlying emotions that fuel disconnection.

Couples therapy can support you in:

    • Improving Communication: Learn to express yourself openly and listen to one another with understanding.

    • Managing Conflict: Navigate disagreements in a constructive way that strengthens rather than divides.

    • Healing from Trauma: Address how post-traumatic stress or other past hurts affect your dynamic and begin to heal together.

    • Understanding Attachment: Recognize how childhood experiences and attachment styles influence your relationship and foster greater security.

    • Rebuilding Trust: Restore connection and safety after breaches of trust.

    • Enhancing Intimacy: Deepen your emotional and physical bond.

  • I draw on evidence-based models like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on strengthening emotional bonds and fostering secure attachment. My work is also informed by leading experts in the field, including Dr. Sue Johnson and Esther Perel, whose insights inspire my approach to helping couples connect and thrive. By exploring the ways childhood experiences and attachment patterns shape relational dynamics, I help couples uncover deeper understanding, empathy, and connection.

I also bring an understanding of how trauma—whether individual or shared—can ripple through relationships, and I tailor my approach to address these specific challenges with care and expertise.

  • Couples therapy is not just for relationships in crisis. Whether you’re looking to navigate a specific challenge, improve communication, heal from trauma, or simply invest in your partnership, therapy can provide valuable tools and insights to help you grow together.

  • I offer a range of session options to meet your unique needs, whether you’re seeking regular support or a more in-depth experience:

    • Standard Sessions: 50-minute sessions are $220—ideal for maintaining connection, addressing challenges, and fostering growth.

    • Extended Sessions: 90-minute sessions are $300, offering additional time to dive deeper into complex issues or focus on specific goals.

    • Half-Day Intensives: For couples needing focused, in-depth support, half-day intensives (4 hours of face-to-face sessions) provide a powerful opportunity to address pressing issues and spark meaningful change.

Half-day intensives are a highly specialized service and may not be suitable for everyone. I’ll work closely with you during our initial consultation to determine if this option aligns with your relationship goals and circumstances.

  • If you’re ready to take the first step, I begin with a screening form that both partners complete individually. This helps identify your goals and unique concerns before we meet. Couples therapy offers tools and insights to help you grow together. Reach out today to take the first step toward a more connected and fulfilling relationship.
